Why was there no mention of the OpenID framework when discussing cross-site authentication?

The Stack Overflow sites are the only places I've used it so far but it seems to be picking up steam and I'm looking at integrating with my own site soon.

James Bach has a very good article on Wolfram Alpha, Nervous About Wolfram. And he is right to be nervous in my opinion.

Nervous About Wolfram http://www.satisfice.com/blog/archives/280,

also the BBC has a good article: Does Wolfram work?

Bing is a really unfortunate name, particularly in Scotland (where I'm from). 'Bings' are spoil heaps from mining operations which are sometimes 200-300 ft high. Do a search for 'Pit Bing'.

Having tried 'Bing' I'm leaning towards the spoil heap interpretation...I had some hopes for MS's Bing hoping for some competition to google, but google still reigns.

Kev
ps: this is one of the best podcasts I listen to, keep up the good work. I especially love the irreverant nature and the outtakes at the end.
