Couldn’t listen to this great show due to horrible sound quality (thousands of little pops). The audio needs a high pass filter.

Turns out, you can only hear these through the flash player. It sounds fine in WMP. They must be filtered out in WMP.

I’ve seen issues with the Flash player, especially on different browsers. For instance, the audio would play back at half speed in earlier releases of Google Chrome. I’ve checked the audio on several different audio players and am not seeing that issue at all. I usually do 2-4 hours of editing on each episode, so if the audio is really unlistenable I do what I can to fix it before it’s published (filtering, compressing, leveling, etc.).

I found you guys from a StackOver flow post. You do a nice job of having an entertaining conversation with some information.
Last night I implemented Scott’s HP Printer Hack and had a wonderful time. I’ve left it running in the cubie farm so that it switches the display every 30 minutes. Since we have a HP Laser Jet 4100 I have 32 characters to work with! It was such a nice break to have some fun that I feel re-energized to get back on the LoB app that was getting a bit stodgy for me.
